Hair oiling has always been part of Indian care. We built Nivkara to make that ritual feel thoughtful, transparent and easy enough to keep.
The ritual was familiar. The shelf was not.
Most of us grew up around hair oil. It was not a trend or a ten-step routine. It was simply something someone at home did with care: part the hair, massage the roots, wait, then wash.
But hair care slowly became harder to understand. The shelf filled with serums, actives and loud promises. Meanwhile, the concerns stayed familiar: more hair on the brush, dry lengths, an uncomfortable scalp and no routine simple enough to continue.
We did not want to invent another complicated step. We wanted to make the root-care ritual worth returning to.
So we went back to the roots.
We are not Ayurvedic practitioners, and we did not pretend to formulate from instinct. We worked with qualified Ayurvedic guidance and focused on a familiar hero: Bhringraj, supported by a wider herb blend for a thoughtful pre-wash ritual.
The goal was not to promise an overnight transformation. It was to build an oil people could understand and a routine they could repeat: use the right amount, massage gently, let it rest and wash.

Nivkara Bhringraj Root Therapy brings 19 Ayurvedic herbs into one pre-wash oil. The bottle names the ritual, the key botanicals and the way it should be used. Customers should not need a science degree or a dramatic promise to understand their hair oil.
We chose an oil format because scalp massage already belongs in Indian hair-care routines. We chose a 100 ml bottle because the ritual should feel approachable. And we chose honest expectations because hair and scalp care take consistency.
